Книги «Компьютерные игры» — одни из первых сборников прохождений компьютерных игр на русском языке. На титульной странице авторство обозначено «АО Аквариум», хотя сзади упоминается «Издательство ВА Принт (VA Print)». У этого издательства также есть книги PC Game. Выпуски начиная с 1996 года выходят за авторством компании «БИБЛИОН». Все книги печатались в Москве.

Несмотря на то, что статьи содержат большое число орфографических, стилистических и даже фактических ошибок, они представляют собой большую историческую и культурную ценность, как первые подобные прохождения. Кроме того, в них можно найти много информации на русском языке по играм, о которых почти ничего нельзя найти даже сегодня.
