Soldier of Fortune II

Hi... i know that there are some other topics of SOF2 in the forum, but they are in russian and i don't know russian so...

Anyway. Now, i got a little trouble with textures in Colombia... It happens that in "The Bridge" level (and in any other level with water, excepting Hong Kong) water loses texture and becomes into a black surface with white strips.

Now, i've discovered that this problem is a problem of textures files in the "BASE" folder. (lowering textures does not solve anything). Therefore, i politely request that some of you give me a copy of your textures files (since they are big, maybe rapidshare could be a solution).

Soldier of Fortune is of 2002... so i guess that there might be no problem. Otherwise, please explain and i will obey any suggestion regarding to that.

 

BladeLord, this is strange case. I have "SOF2" and play it without any problems on my current config.
And what version of the game do you have? Maybe you have same troubles because of bad -rip- version.

Well, sure... maybe the version i got was pretty bad ripped. I even got dim problems with multiplayer textures (everything went black and white). Now, i managed to replace the files with new ones (from another rip) and multiplayer is fine, but Colombia is still in trouble...

Now Bruiser... if your files are in OK condition... could you please ginme a copy of them? I mean... maybe via rapidshare or something like that pleaseee!!!!!!

textures1234.pk3 and textures0.pk3 (i guess they are). PLEASE!!!!

 

BladeLord, i think, it'd be better for you to download full .iso version of the game. Otherwise, i have a feeling that same problems with textures will repeat again.
Also i recommend you to update video card drivers to latest one.

p.s.
One of my friends had some textures bug in "GTA:SA".
It was that way:

I'd decided him to update video drivers, and it solved the problem.
So, think for yourself.

 

you are right... it seems that only original versions are correctly textures so i'll have to save some money...
